About Our Foundation Course in Group Analysis

A Foundation Course in Group Analysis is a comprehensive training program designed to introduce participants to the fundamental concepts and skills of group analysis, a therapeutic approach that focuses on understanding group dynamics and the unconscious processes that occur within groups.

Overall, a Foundation Course in Group Analysis provides a comprehensive introduction to the theory and practice of group therapy. It equips participants with a solid foundation in understanding group dynamics. Students will gain the skills to be confident in facilitating group processes, and applying group analysis principles to promote healing, personal growth and well-being in group settings.

This course does not qualify someone as a Group Analyst - rather it gives the participant a strong foundation in group processes. This foundation course is a prerequisite to further training (see link).

80% attendance to the foundation course is required in order to receive our certificate: ‘Foundation Course in Group Analysis’. This course is aligned with - and recognised by, The Institute of Group Analysis.
